TechHire’s mission is to recode the American economy by helping employers find outstanding tech talent and individuals get the training and connections they need to start successful technology careers.
This document discloses the Terms of Service (collectively “Terms”) and the privacy practices (collectively “Privacy Policy”) for information collected through this website (collectively “Site”) and products and services provided (collectively the “Service).
Throughout this document, the words “TechHire.Careers,” “TechHire,” “us,” “we,” and “our” refer to the subset of work identified as “TechHire” by Opportunity@Work, a nonprofit organization, our Site or our Service, as is appropriate in the context of the use of the words.
User Consent
The Site is made available for use by individuals seeking employment (referred to as “Job Seeker”), by individuals and/or organizations training individuals (referred to as “Educator”), or by individuals and/or organizations seeking to access job seeker information (referred to as “Employer”).
The term “Community Lead” will refer to specific individuals who are designated as TechHire Community Leads for a specified location that is a designated as a TechHire community.
The term “You” refers to the individual, company or legal entity, as applicable, identified as the user when you register on the Site, either as or on behalf of a Job Seeker, Employer, Educator. If you are accessing or using the Site in your capacity as an employee or other representative of an Employer or Educator, you are agreeing to this Agreement on behalf of yourself and such Employer or Educator, as applicable, and you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such Employer or Educator, as applicable, to this Agreement.
By submitting personal data through our Site or Service, you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Updates to the Terms and Privacy Policy
Please note that the Terms and Privacy Policy is subject to change by Opportunity@Work in its sole discretion at any time. When changes are made, an updated version will be available at the Site, and the “Last Updated” date will reflect the date on which changes were made. If you continue to access the Service or Site after the posting of such changes, you agree to be bound by the terms of the updated Terms and Privacy Policy.
Information Collection

Your Actions. We collect the content and information you provide when you use our Service or access our Site, including the frequency and duration of your activities. When you create an account to log into our network (“Account”), request information, fill out a profile, participate in a survey, upload content, contact other users, or otherwise actively send us data on our Site, we may collect such data including, but not limited to, your first and last name, password, e-mail address, telephone number (including mobile phone number), gender, ethnicity, education history, training, professional title, company name, location, employment history, project details, interests in technology careers, company name, company location, roles company is hiring for, organization name, and any other data included that you provided.
Actions of other users. We collect content and information about you that other users provide when they invited you to use the Service, including name and email address they import or input on a page on our Site.
Devices. We collect information from or about the computers, phones, or other devices where you access our Site or Service, depending on the permissions you have granted.
Log Files. Our server automatically recognizes the IP address of visitors. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our Site, including the number and frequency of visitors and subscribers to each Web page and the length of each visit. We do not share the log files with any external party. If you contact us in regards to the log files, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
Cookies. The Site may place cookies in files on your computer. The cookies themselves do not collect or reveal any personally identifying information about you. You always have the option of disabling cookies via your browser preferences.
Google Analytics. You can opt out of the collection of aggregated, anonymous demographic data by visiting the Ad Setting of your Google account or installing Google’s opt-out add-on available available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/
